As one of the big four automobile manufacturers hailing from Germany, Mercedes-Benz has always been associated with refined tastes and exquisite class. Mercedes-Benz’s foray into the world of SUVs was in the form of the M-Class in 1997, subsequently renamed the GLE-Class in 2015. The GLE is a middle-ground option between the larger GLS and the smaller GLC. The GLE/ M-Class has four mid-sized SUV generations under the names. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 4MATIC was offered in 11 exterior color options. This GLE 350 is decked in stunning Mojave Silver metallic paint. The Exterior Lighting Package adds active LED headlights with Active Curve Illumination, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, and an Ultra-Wide Highbeam. The rear features LED taillights, a load sill guard, and a Class III trailer hitch which can tow up to 7,700 lbs. A set of 21” twin 5-spoke wheels painted in silver with wheel locking bolts grace the GLE. The running boards are illuminated on entry. The interior is done in a Macchiato and Magma Grey color scheme with a topstitched MB-Tex upper dash and door trims. A dual panorama roof with power functions is in place. The front seats are heated and ventilated. The Premium Package adds a 13-speaker Burmester Surround Sound System, a Surround View System, and a 115V power outlet. The 3-spoke touch-multifunction steering wheel features a black and silver design, while a 12.3” digital instrument cluster is visible behind it. Other features include a 9.5” Head-Up Display, Parking Assistant Package, and heated and cooled front cupholders.

Powering the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 4MATIC is a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with power sent to all 4-wheels via the 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. Power output is at 255hp with 273 lb. ft of torque. 0-60 mph is clocked in at 7.6 seconds with a top speed of 142 mph.
