The Chevrolet Nova, though quickly designed, had a long and successful history with over 5 generations and 16 years of production.   Among these, the third generation is particularly notable and highly sought after by collectors.   A prime example of this is the 1972 Chevrolet Nova SS currently available in Aberdeen, which has recently undergone restoration and is ready to be driven and enjoyed.    

Although the Chevy Nova was compact in size, it possessed a distinct character and the classic appearance of a muscle car.   This particular Nova boasts a dark gray exterior with a black vinyl top and a black racing stripe.   The exterior features and chrome bumpers are in excellent condition.   The previous owner states that this car has an original SS body.   Additionally, the Chevy Nova sits high off the ground on gray American Racing wheels with fresh tires.   Inside the trunk, there is a spare wheel.   The interior of the 1972 Chevrolet Nova SS is custom-made but maintains the original design.   It includes the original SS steering wheel overlooking a carbon fiber-styled dashboard.   Within the dashboard are a set of Autometer carbon fiber gauges.   A white Hurst gear shifter contrasts with the black interior.   The car is equipped with bucket seats, a center console with cup holders, and a modern Kenwood Bluetooth-capable head unit for music and phone integration.    

The SS is offered as a performance package rather than just a trim option, featuring a 350ci (5.7L) V8 engine.   This specific 1972 Chevrolet Nova SS is equipped with a 350 Ci crate engine that can produce more power than the standard 295hp. Additionally, it comes with various upgrades such as aluminum heads, aluminum intake, and a Holley carburetor.   The increase in power is complemented by a 4-speed Muncie transmission and a new rear end to ensure efficient power delivery.   The braking system includes front discs and new rear drums to ensure timely stopping of the vehicle.
