The 1964 GMC 1500, which is a first-generation C/K Body pickup truck, is a strong representation of General Motors’ sturdy and functional trucks.   This particular vehicle has been completely restored and finished in March 2020, providing insight into the core of American automotive history.   Featuring a beautiful light gold paint job, as well as new wheels, tires, and chrome accessories, the 1964 GMC 1500 attracts admiration with its classic charm.    

The truck’s exterior, painted in 2020 and glowing in a light gold color, reveals a high level of detail and care.   Newly added wheels, tires, and chrome parts contribute to its like-new appearance.   Every aspect, from the cabin steps to the wood-lined cargo bed, radiates an authentic charm.   Inside the truck’s cab, a bench seat can accommodate three adults and has been reupholstered for a fresh look.   Even though the truck has a vintage 1960s feel, modern conveniences such as a CD player discreetly placed in the glove box have been seamlessly incorporated.   While there is no air conditioning or working gauges, these issues can easily be fixed with aftermarket solutions, ensuring a more comfortable and up-to-date driving experience.    

The 1964 GMC 1500 is equipped with a rebuilt 230ci in-line six-cylinder engine that has only driven 2,000 miles since being restored.   It has a rear-wheel-drive system controlled by a 4-speed manual transmission, providing sufficient performance for its use.   The front suspension has independent coil springs and the rear suspension has leaf springs, achieving a good combination of comfort and load-carrying ability.   Recent upkeep involved replacing filters, hoses, and changing the oil to guarantee a dependable and well-kept classic driving experience.
